  Thanks to a comment from surtin, a bug in UTW-RPC’s interaction with ecto has hopefully been fixed. The new release is available on the download page. I’m posting this from ecto with keywords, so if you see tags on this, it means it’s working alright.

  Fine, it’s a plugin now: c6oldposts.zip. All you have to do is unzip, upload, and turn it on. It will check the current post and if it’s more than a month old, will insert a div with an id of “oldpostalert” before the content, containing a message stating how old the post is (taken from Alex King’s plugin). However, I’ve switched from the related posts method to Ultimate Tag Warrior’s related posts by tag since it’s much more accurate. If you don’t have UTW installed, it will skip that part, but if you do, you’ll love the results. I’ll make this an official plugin on the downloads page after a little more testing.

• 2.5.07 UTW-RPC 1.2 released posted in Geekery

  Christine released Ultimate Tag Warrior 3.14159265 and broke my plugin. Man, the whole idea of an external plugin was so I could stop keeping up with her. Anyway, she added a security feature that I had to incorporate into the plugin using “nonces”. This release will work with the latest versions of Wordpress and Ultimate Tag Warrior.
