    Virb ScreenshotThanks to Kristin Pishdadi, I’ve got an account on the beta site for virb.com. It’s a new social networking site. Yes, another social networking site. But I like this one because it has all the charm of Myspace, only they’ve turned the suck way, way down. A nice Ajaxified site with a far more usable interface, it’s got profiles, music, movies and all the usual jazz. Plus, they actually encourage CSS customization and make it very easy to do. You can even control the XHTML layout of the profile portion of the page. Great possibilities. I styled the default layout this evening just to see what I could do with it. I’ll probably have a lot of fun with it, especially if the site takes off. If anyone wants an invite, let me know, I have a few to give away (and I love having friends ;-)).
