  • 3.16.07 Actiontastic Updated posted in Geekery

I just noticed there’s a new release of Actiontastic out that fixes a couple of my major interface gripes, including the broken tab stops on the date input in the anti-drawer. And it’s a non-expiring beta with no nag screen, and, perhaps most exciting of all, the author has decided to make Actiontastic free and open-source.

  • 3.7.07 GTD Flip-Flop and other news posted in Geekery

I’m back to & ToDo / Task Management Application for Mac & Windows">Easy Task Manager. Actiontastic is cool, but too lightweight for my current needs. Most of what I want it to do is either promised for the future or not in development at all, which eventually made me question why I was trying to make it work. I’ll settle for poor aesthetics and pretty good functionality (and a very nice pricetag) on Easy Task.

  • 3.3.07 Autotag Temp Fix posted in Geekery

If you’ve updated your SVN installation of the TextMate Support libraries recently, the Autotag bundle probably broke. According to the explanation here there is a fix on the way. For that reason I’m not rushing to release a fixed version of the bundle, at least not until I’m sure the change is permanent. For now, if you need to regain use of any of the commands, use this tip…

  • 2.13.07 Autotag 2 posted in Geekery

Autotag 2I’ve got a whole new release of the Autotag bundle for TextMate, with a brand new dialog interface, progress reporting, and more. It will check to see if you’ve already defined a blog in your headers and won’t ask, it has better error checking, and a supercool interface. It’s so great, it got a whole new version number.

  • 2.5.07 Colder Still posted in Random Thoughts

Pretty darn coldI thought it was cold yesterday so I stayed home. It was 28 below with the windchill, and today it’s down to 31 below (-18° without the windchill). The record low is -24° in 1895. I figured, it’s warmer than it was in 1895, so I might as well go to the office. I’m telling everyone else to stay home today since they all have kids and school’s cancelled here…

  • 2.4.07 Regarding my pants and other news posted in Design, Web Design, Random Thoughts

First off, I sincerely apologize for the last two movies. My lack of decorum is disturbing. Not disturbing enough to make me delete them from the blog, though, as it’s probably about time I showed my true colors. That’s right, I’m a Minnes-oh-tan with a very lame sense of humor. ;-).

    Meanwhile…

  • 2.1.07 Download Section posted in Website Updates

I’ve added a download section to start aggregating the various things that I put out there. I need to start having permanent pages to refer back to and let people link to so I can stop creating long chains of “this plugin has been updated” paragraphs at the top of old posts. So at the top of this page you’ll find a “Downloads” link that will take you to the new downloads page. New releases will get an announcement post, but this page and its satellite pages will serve as permanent home bases for my work as I learn and improve on it.

CSSEdit 2 is out! This thing is sweet. Even if you like typing code by hand (which I do) the dynamic preview modes look amazing. The validation and milestone features are very cool. I’m excited, in case you can’t tell. For $30, you can’t go wrong! After an eternity of testing, […]

  • 9.14.06 Slobber Away! posted in Circle Six Happenings, Website Updates

Due to problems embedding the Flash file, this movie is only available on the portfolio page. We shipped off the first of the Slobberfest commercials today. I’m not completely satisfied with any part of how this is coming out, but it’s not as bad as it could be. First the artist we had lined […]
