Use the instructions in this entry, but you can now use !itune to insert the currently playing iTunes track. And, modified from a Colloquy script, you can type an exclamation point followed by your 5 digit zip code to insert the current weather for your area. So !55987 will come out in the format “Right now in Winona: Sunny and 76°, 56% humidity.”

    Okay, one person suggested it and I felt like trying. Here’s a mostly functional version of the Moody Applescript that will simultaneously send your status and mood to iChat, Skype, Twitter and Adium, depending on what’s currently available. It checks to see what’s running, and if you have a Twitter password in your keychain. It works relatively well for me, although not completely dependable. I’m putting it out there for people to play with, but have no intention of taking bug reports or offering support. Have at it. Use the instructions on the Moody page to install.
