I am NOT a programmer. I have taught myself what I know by scrapping together and learning from other people's code. I pick things up quickly and have become somewhat proficient in Ruby, javascript, PHP, Applescript and regular expressions. But I know very little about efficient algorithms and proper coding practices, so if you feel like cleaning anything up and sending it back to me, I learn a little bit every time somebody does that. And no, it's not humiliating ;-).
