Pownce Posting Error: Solved

Note: This post is over a month old. You may want to check later in this blog to see if there is new information.

For everyone experiencing posting errors with Pownce, especially prevalent after a reboot, fear not. I believe I’ve found the issue and MoodBlast will version up before I leave for my brother’s wedding on Thursday. I’m seriously considering a redesign, maybe back to a HUD, but time will tell.

    Thanks, it works!

MoodBlast is one of the best apps I have.

If I may make a suggestion, could you add hotkeys so that for example, pressing [hotkey1] would auto select to post to twitter, facebook, pownce.

Pressing [hotkey2] auto selects to post to adium, skype etc.

And so you could hotkey to instantly choose which services to post to quickly.
I ask this since Adium and IM’s would typically be used for things like moods, whereas facebook, Twitter, Pownce etc are used for more substantial info that you couldn’t/wouldn’t post to your IM status. Thanks

I’m a little short on time for adding the necessary menus for that, but command shift S will save the current service selection and can be restored at any time with command shift R. command shift A selects all and command shift d deselects all. Pressing tab once from the input field allows you to use the first letter of each service (shortcuts listed) to select what to blast to. As far as adding additional hotkeys, what I may do is incorporate service selection into the statuses, so that you can just use @im to blast to the IM clients you select for that status. Also, if you’re not familiar with overrides, you can use a carat (^) followed immediately by the shortcuts in a blast and it will override the checkbox selections. “^stua This is a test blast” would send “This is a test blast” to Skype, Twitter, Tumblr and Adium.

So, does any of that help until I can add new features?

I’ve missed the HUD design since it was replaced.

A little bit out of left field, but is there something like Moodblast for the iphone/ipod touch? If not have you considered making one? IMO this would be a killer app on the same level as mobilescobbler

Have your say
