For various and sundry reasons, MoodBlast uses a shell call to base64 encode the user/pass for Pownce. Something strange happens with the path environment variable and programs that are loaded at login. sh was handling the echo -n (and \c) differently than bash, so I forced it to bash and presto. But the error returns after I rebooted. Same thing when I deleted the preference file. It'll work the first time. But once I reboot, it'll give the error again. I am not behind a proxy and the Pownce posting did seem to work okay for a few days after the release of 3.1. If anything it looks like Pownce has changed the API or it is broken for some users. I don't suppose there is a way of enabling a debugging mode in Moodblast? I too am getting the Pownce “Error posting error”.
