Came here looking for the update to MoodBlast, but saw this article & couldn't resist adding my 2¢. Been using Things, and honestly, it's become my tasks manager. iCal & Mail are great, but honestly too limiting, and while they're never going to offer recurring to-dos, the author of Things has mentioned that this is coming, so I've dropped RememberTheMilk in favor of Things!

Right. If it just had iCal syncing or any flat file export, I'd be a lot more willing to give it a good workout. Of course, if it had iCal sync, it would be a lot easier to get all of my tasks INTO Things. The other major thing that's dampening my enthusiasm is no quick way to turn an email into a task, although that's on the planned features list as well.

No export yet, either. Indispensable for switching/experimenting.

Received my invite today too, just taken it for a spin. I've got a lot of time and info invested in OmniFocus but I'm loving the tags in Things which enables actions to exist in multiple contexts. Filtering tasks for when I'm @work but also @tired is the big feature missing for me in OmniFocus.
