Looking back, I can't recall why I felt the need to set the return to a variable (it's an abbreviated portion of a larger script), so you might just try taking out the "set results to" and just use "blast the_text". Let me know how it goes, I broke Quicksilver and never got around to fixing it, so I can't test anymore. Could be a few things.
