Too bad to see facebook go. Especially since I never even heard of either Jaiku or Yappd. And how many are using Adium and iChat at the same time I wonder?
MoodBlast 2.13

MoodBlast 2.13 is out, current users can just use the built in update options. New users, head for the download page! As mentioned previously, Facebook is no longer a friend of MoodBlast. We’re sorry that it ended the way it did, and we hope they’ll call someday, but for now, we just need some space. However, and in no way is this meant to trick you into upgrading to a Facebook-less version, but UTF-8 and international weather support has greatly improved, the interface is further tweaked and we’ve added Yappd! Here’s why…
Yappd is reminiscent of Pownce, but with a slick API. Yes, we’ll add Pownce when they add an API. But right now, with a small-but-growing userbase, Yappd is ready to turn into a very cool micro-blogging platform. It includes the ability to post images and links (auto-shortened) with your post. It’s got a great team behind it and very responsive developers. If things take off, I’m actually thinking my next project will be a Twitterific-esque client for Yappd.
MoodBlast is still heading in new directions, though. The interface still has a few major hurdles that I have to jump, including a complete rewrite of the main search drop down for more keyboard control. Applescript-ability is coming shortly. Locations support is nigh. All in good time.
