thanks for putting this bundle together. I am pretty new to textmate and I’ve got a question I think related to that. when I select tag search, etc in the flickrmate is says “Please Run Authorize Command.” What is that and How do I do this?

    Thanks for your help.

The Authorize Command is part of the FlickrMate bundle and is what allows the rest of the commands to access your Flickr account. Press Control-Command-F and choose the 5th command (or type ‘5’). It will open the authorize page for Flickr in your default browser. Once you’ve completed the process (it’s simple), return to TextMate and click “Continue” on the dialog that’s waiting for you. Everything should function after that.

Brett - extremely simple. Thanks alot!

From the “Browse Your Flickr Photos” window, it appears that you can only link to a static image. Is it possible to link to the original photo page, rather than the image file itself? That added feature would be really handy, IMHO.

This bundle is extremely useful, regardless. Thanks!

    I’ll see what I can put together when I get a minute…

    Hi

I’m having a little trouble installing FlickrMate.

    I’m running…
    10.4.10 on a MacBook Pro
    TextMate 1.5.6 (1431)
    Dialog.tmplugin rev. 8329
    FlickrMate 1.8

The FlickrMate bundle installs fine, but when I try to authorise my Flickr account I get an error message (in a tooltip)…

/tmp/temp_textmate.XXXXX:5:in `require': no such file to load -- /Applicationss/TextMate.app/Contents/SharedSupport/Support/lib/dialog (Load Error) from /tmp/temp_XXXXX:5

    Any ideas?

I noticed that some else had the same problem and posted a comment on the TextMate blog.

Best regards, and thanks for taking the time to make this cool-sounding bundle Steve

(p.s. when posting comments here, do you hold them for approval? I don’t see immediate posting and there is no message to indicate that I have been successful or not with my posts)

Have your say
