Manually Ordering Wordpress Posts
posted in
Web Design
James Angus has put together a Wordpress plugin that allows for the manual ordering of posts in a category. This is awesome for creating a CMS from Wordpress, especially if you want to create a static homepage that can be managed by a client. Check it out at http://orderposts.ucantblamem.com. -

My scary morning encapsulated in eight pictures. I don’t get personal too often, but this was an exceptional morning for me, and I felt like sharing ;).

Tangerine: Sticky Sweet Color Management
posted in
Design, Web Design
Tangerine is a new color management app for OS X that provides designers with a consistent palette for creating color palettes that translate between applications. It functions as a floating palette available from all applications and adding colors can be done with copy and paste, a dropper (magnifying glass) or with input sliders. The colors are then available with the click or drag of a swatch in any of your applications. It works with profiles and adjusts for different screen modes. In my short time experimenting with this program I’ve fallen in love with it. This is an excellent extension to the built in Color Picker and in tandem with a good Color Wheel makes for an excellent color management setup. If you deal with color, in print or web, check this out! -

Not sure what a mind map is? Check Wikipedia… For more information on Mindmeister’s features, including keyboard-only navigation, map sharing and change notification, realtime collaboration and more (mostly free, some premium features at $4/mo), visit their home page. -

For those of you less inclined toward the complexity of the hPDA, here’s a way to make use of a very beautiful, very sexy notebook while keeping organized and working with whatever computer based system you’ve chosen…
