30cal: 30 Boxes and iCal

Note: This post is over a year old. You may want to check later in this blog to see if there is new information.

And here we go again, off on another Applescript adventure. This one is a doozy, I think. It’s going straight to it’s own download page because there WILL be updates. What it does is let you send any event or entire calendar from iCal to your 30 Boxes calendar with support for notes, urls, locations, repeating events, tags, start time/date, end time/date, and more. You can use it to make the switch from iCal to 30 Boxes, or just send important events to a shared calendar. You can even use it to edit your events locally with the comfort of iCal and then send them to 30 Boxes without opening a web browser. Your choice! Download here.

I love the idea of this 30boxes/iCal hackery… But, I’m missing something. It could just be me, but I downloaded 30cal and it’s unzipping as a script, not an application as the installation instructions describes.

I’d love to use this — but something’s amiss between (my) reality and the instructions. Thanks

Fixed it. Bad download link to the previous version, my apologies. Download the new one, version 1.5, and you should have the app that’s shown in the instructions.

Hello. Congratulations for this great app! I have been looking for something like that for a long time.

The app is running very well but I inadvertently inserted the wrong user Token when it was prompted at the initial installation. I tried to reinstall 30cal, but that’s not solving the issue. How do I go about correcting this mistake?

Thanks you very much for your help.

Have your say
