The API makes tag entry on todos a little more complicated from an Applescript perspective. If I’m going to make it work I’ll have to add a syntax for it that will apply to both events and todos. It will make things a step more complicated but I’ll try to make it as simple as possible.

Okay, new version posted, see the download page for a link. It will let you add tags to your todo items by putting them in square brackets, separated with a space (e.g. [tag1 tag2 tag3]).
