FlickrMate 1.7

Note: This post is over a year old. You may want to check later in this blog to see if there is new information.

An update to TextMate brings UI changes to the FlickrMate bundle. I’ve also added a fix for a bug discovered by Mike McClenaghan that prevents uploading photos with spaces in their names. If you have the latest version of TextMate (if you use SVN be sure to update your Support folder), then head for the download page for the latest version.

Hi, I tried to authorise the bundle, but got a “Flickr doesn’t recognise the “frob” this application is trying to use.” error.

I’ve looked around for more doco on your site, but have come up empty. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

It looks like there was a hiccup on FlickrMate. I was able replicate this error but it just went away on its own. Makes me a little nervous, but everything in the code looks correct.

I’ve updated the download page with a version of the download that doesn’t use the “cutting edge” changes in TextMate. This will solve a few people’s problems. It looks like, despite the changes, TextMate will be backwards compatible with the old dialog UI for a while.

Tried it again today, without redownloading the plugin, and it worked fine. Thanks!
