Biopsies aren’t cool. I’ve had several and none of them are ever routine. Especially waiting for the results.

My scary morning encapsulated in eight pictures. I don’t get personal too often, but this was an exceptional morning for me, and I felt like sharing ;).

Good to know that the biopsy came back negative. Take care!

As someone who’s had them come back positive in the past, I can fully empathise. Great news Brett!

And I can finally empathize, even if just a little, with some of you who have gotten bad news where I got some relief. The 10 days I waited for results were the same no matter the end result. I have a new perspective on what a human mind can begin to go through in circumstances like that. I can only imagine what it’s like to take the next step.

As I often say - you never know how you’ll be till you’re told. But hey - they cure this stuff too you know!

Yes. Simon, your blog actually gave me inspiration before this happened and courage during it. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Just wanted to say congratulations. That time period between the biopsy and the results is absolutely rattling. You mention that you can’t imagine what it feels like if it comes back positive, but in it’s own way that anticipation and anxiety is some of the worst: it’s the only time that you don’t have anything you can do, you don’t know what your immediate future will bring, and your mind always makes it as bad as it possibly can be, or worse.
It’s a big deal, congrats getting through it, and congrats on the good news.
