I can’t keep up with this guy. He just released version 1.3.4 of iGTD and it boasts a ton of new features. It adds niceties like autocomplete on tags and multiple links for projects and has meaty features like smart folders with “due in x days” filters. Awesome quicksilver integration as well. This is it, I’m sold. Here’s the list of new features from the forum:
New features:
- auto complete for tags.
- multiple links for task - displayed as tokens (‘clouds’)
- click on the token and use a popup menu to open the URL/file or to reveal file in finder
- you can still drag’n’drop files or URLs on Link field or on the task to add a new link
- you can type in the URL without http prefix to add an URL link
- new option for popup menu of contacts - show Address Book info for selected contact
- last selection of context/project is saved at shutdown and restored at startup of iGTD
- new setting in project properties - default tags for new project tasks
- new setting tab in preferences - Advanced: you can choose a custom path for iGTD data file (useful for those who want to store their iGTD data on USB pendrives)
- new icons for contexts (mail, music, shopping…)
- new smart folder setting - display tasks with due dates in next X days
- default context of project is copied to any created subproject
- new iGTD icon
Fixes:
- drag’n’drop on project tasks list creates new tasks with link now
- corrected creating tasks when search fields are not empty
Have your say
