Autotag Temp Fix

Note: This post is over a year and a half old. You may want to check later in this blog to see if there is new information.

If you’ve updated your SVN installation of the TextMate Support libraries recently, the Autotag bundle probably broke. According to the explanation here there is a fix on the way. For that reason I’m not rushing to release a fixed version of the bundle, at least not until I’m sure the change is permanent. For now, if you need to regain use of any of the commands, use this tip…

Open the Bundle Editor (⌘-⌥-⌃-B) and open the Autotag bundle. In each of the commands there is a line that reads:

require SUPPORT + '/lib/plist'

Just change it to read:

require SUPPORT + '/lib/osx/plist'

and the bundle will run fine. If this change turns out to be permanent, I will release a new version of the bundle right away.
