I'm experimenting with a few app based solutions right now. My one requirement is that they work with quicksilver and it's a bonus if they have online syncing. I'll be posting my personal favorites soon.

Yes - I know the tasks problem only too well! For years I've used Outlook at home, on the work server and on a PDA but since my gradual migration to macs over the last year, I've been loking for a new solution. At the moment, I'm using Google Calendar and Tasks - and am hoping that I can get my Blackberry Pearl to pick that up online when I'm on the road.

I like the look of ToDoist and will give it a try. ( Tried BNackpacker and didn't geddit) I jiust wish Apple would come up with a seamless solution - maybe based on the iPhone and iCal? I think I saw that iCal in Leopard has a more sophisticated ToDo system.

Correct. The author wrote a Quicksilver plugin that allows "on-the-fly" adding of items to your inbox, without having to navigate to the app. basically it's a matter of creating a text clipping in quicksilver and sending the text file to actiontastic. Quite handy to not have to leave the app you are working in.

I've tried Actiontastic, and if I remember right it interfaces pretty well with Quicksilver. That could work...

I'm just a recent GTD convert, but I've been happy with the development of Actiontastic, a desktop client for the Mac. Still in beta, it's quite nearly ready for prime time, and the developer just announced that there will be a web app that will sync with the desktop, so you can have best of both worlds. On the go inbox collection, NA's, then sync to your desktop. Sounds perfect for my needs.
