Reggy

Note: This post is over a year and a half old. You may want to check later in this blog to see if there is new information.

Reggy ScreenshotJust a quick note about a piece of software I’ve been looking for and finally found thanks to a tip from Ale Muñoz on the TextMate mailing list. Reggy is a sweet little OS X cocoa/objective-c app that gives you a visual representation of what your regular expression will select out of a test string. I played around with it and quickly answered a few questions that were lingering for me. Sweet.

I am glad some people have found a use for Reggy just as I have. Just a note that I have just released a new version of Reggy (v1.1) that includes AppleScript support.

It seems as if from the limited responses I have received, AppleScript was a big want. I hope to make a TextMate bundle as well when I get a little time, but feel free to beat me to it!

Have your say
