Wordpress Bundle adds Plugins

Note: This post is over a year and a half old. You may want to check later in this blog to see if there is new information.

I’ve committed a new version of the Wordpress Theme bundle to svn and am posting it to the blog. See the end of this post for a link. I’ve added support for a few of the most common plugins with their most important options. Ultimate Tag Warrior, being one of my favorites, has a full selection of available tags and format types, and I’ve added the is_tag() condition to the conditions pop up. Other plugins added include Feed List, Extended Live Archives and Related Posts.

Installation of the bundle is just a matter of downloading, decompressing and double clicking the tmbundle file. If you’re installing via svn, just check it out right to your Bundles folder and refresh your bundles in TextMate. If you’ve previously installed the bundle by either method, this version will just update your previous installation with the new commands.

You may or may not have noticed that many of the commands intelligently determine whether or not you’re already inside of php tags. If you are, it won’t insert them again. This isn’t true of the snippets, but play around with the commands and you’ll find they’re pretty smart ;-).

    Sorry, I lost touch with the original host of the repo, and since I haven’t updated the bundle for a while, haven’t gotten around to setting up a new one.

    One user has taken it upon himself to update and improve on the bundle, but I don’t have the address handy. I meant to add it to the download page a long time ago…

    I’ll update that page as soon as I can.
