New Year, New Design

I’m unveiling this new look a week early. I started it out with the intention of finishing it in time for the New Year, but Christmas Eve has turned out to be a pretty dull day and I’ve had plenty of time to figure out all of the Internet Explorer quirks. I can’t wait to stop supporting IE6, but it’s going to be a while.

I’m working to make the code on this one as semantic as possible. It’s got a ways to go, but it’s pretty good so far. I need to reconsider a few things, and re-tool a couple of plugins that are a little div-happy. The delicious plugin likes to make a div for every item when it should, for all intents and purposes, be an unordered list.

Anyway, I’ve opened all my Christmas presents because I have the patience of an ADHD kid on a sugar high, and really have nothing to look forward to tomorrow except for a trip to the in-laws. A good dinner may be in the cards, but we don’t even have snow. This is Minnesota! They have more snow in Texas right now than we’ve had all year. Hrphmph.
