Next Up for the Backpack Bundle

Note: This post is over 2 years old. You may want to check later in this blog to see if there is new information.

GTD screen shotI’m working on a few additions to the Backpack bundle to improve its usefulness to the GTD community. At this point I’ve got it set up to be able to take any list or entire page and output it as a GTDAlt file as shown in the screenshot. It adds today’s date as a complete date for completed items. What I’m working on now is a way to reverse the process and upload changes. I’m undecided as to whether it should destroy old information and write new or whether it should download the page again, compare to what you’ve got and essentially upload a diff file of the changes. I’m leaning towards the latter, I just have to figure out how to make it feasible. If anyone has any input or suggestions, I’m all ears ;-).

My job has taken up a vast majority of my time lately and I haven’t been putting the hours into the blog or the coding projects that I had been, but things will clear up after December and I’ll get back to what’s really important…
