So it’s 3:00 in the morning and I can’t sleep. Actually, I made a conscious decision not to. My wife headed down to Dallas, TX today, which means I can stay up all night and not disrupt her schedule. Which gives me time to do stupid art projects, such as this one. I stole the poem from a coffee poetry site because I couldn’t get myself to do anything as lame as write a poem about coffee. But then I went looking and found this one and really kind of liked it. Here’s the full text, since I edited it a little bit:
Wishing You Were Here …
by Karen Suriano
Last night was wonderful making love to you
My fingers instinctively knew just what to do
If I could play piano like my hands played you
I’d be a hit anywhere, in any venue
Absolutely fabulous making love to you
Maybe next time you could be there too
But alone with the sunrise, I’ll fire up the brew
God knows I need my coffee more than I need you
So there. It’s a poor quality flash version of the movie, but how much download time is a movie about coffee really worth?
