Some of the reading I’ve been doing lately has made me realize something I had taken for granted. AJAX couldn’t exist without the standards that I’m always going on about. AJAX calls depend on CSS classes and ID’s to make changes to the structure of a webpage. That’s the entire idea behind the Web 2.0 line of interfaces.
