Keyboard controlled dropdowns in OS X!

I was blog-cruising, not looking for anything in particular, when one of the great weights on my psyche was suddenly lifted from me. You see, ever since I pulled together enough money to abandon the 5 PC’s that run my house for the Macs that now run my life, I’ve been plagued by the nuisance of having to manually pull dropdown menus down with my mouse and select options. On a PC, you could just tab to them, press the first letter of the option, repeat as necessary, and then tab to the next field. It was the one thing that was keeping my heart from completely belonging to my mac. Here’s the answer. It’s built right into the operating system and I never even noticed it. Thanks, EchoFaith!
