Back to the geekiness. I wrote a mod for the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin that automatically tags your post with your own tags by doing a search through the text you’ve written and comparing it to your taxonomy. I’d like to add a controllable fuzziness to the search, but other than that it’s finished and working really well. It’s only for people who already have a tag library built up, it won’t come up with new suggestions. In fact, now that I think about it, I should change it’s name. I have been calling it “Auto Suggest” but it really should be “Auto Tag”. Hmmm. Already posted it. Oh well.
