New myspace theme

Brett Terpstra's Myspace Profile

Black and blue, baby I love you…
“Beat Me” -Adam and the Ants

I’ve redesigned my Myspace profile yet again. This time I’ve gone with a dark theme, which only highlights the gaudy banner ads all the more, but I had to try it. I played around with checkmarks to determine which links you had already visited, and a 3 column layout. It’s not finished as of today, but it’s ready for the few people who actually visit it.

Addendum:  I’m considering it finished as of Monday, July 3rd.  If you view it with Firefox, it includes some CSS that will determine which links are external links (outside of Myspace) and put a small icon next to them.  This is only true within the main paragraphs, as the links in the sidebars are already using the background image property to create the rollovers.  The rollovers in the menus are created using one image, thus requiring one hit on the server and no javascript.  Neato.  I knew you’d be impressed.

If anybody is interested in the code, just email me from the Circle Six Design page or rip it from the profile…
